Data protection guarantee
A prerequisite for job applicants at Södra is that we are able to
register your personal data in order to manage, store and otherwise process
your job application. By law, you have a number of rights. These are set out
below under Your rights.
How we process your personal data
Södra Skogsägarna ekonomisk förening considers the correct processing of
your personal data to be a matter of trust and would hereby like to inform you
about how we process your personal data. This information refers to all of the
personal data that you provide us with when applying for an advertised position
or registering your CV in our CV database.
Data controller
Södra Skogsägarna ekonomisk förening is a data controller.
Why do we need your personal data?
Södra primarily collects personal data directly from you. That includes
your name, personal identity number, address, e-mail address, gender, CV,
personal letter and telephone number.
Why do we need your personal data?
Södra needs to process your personal data in order to manage your job
application and to carry out any administrative procedures, such as contacting
you if required, etc.
Lawful basis
Your personal data is mainly processed on the lawful basis of consent. If you no longer want Södra to store your data, you can visit Södra’s recruitment tool at any time and erase all of your details. However, you should be aware that this could prevent you from applying for a specific job. In some cases, however, your data may be saved in accordance with the information below under Erasure of personal data. In cases where processing cannot be based on the lawful basis of consent, it may also be processed on the basis of legitimate interests. Personal data may also be processed to comply with a legal obligation, such as the Swedish Accounting Act and applicable labour laws, such as, but not limited to, the Discrimination Act, the Employment (Co-determination in the Workplace) Act and the Employment Protection Act.
Erasure of personal data
Personal data may be kept for a maximum of two years from when you last
updated your profile or submitted your data to us.
Transfer of personal data
In some cases, Södra may be required to transfer your personal data to various external partners. Your personal data may also be transferred to subsidiaries of the Södra Group. Additionally, your personal data may also be transferred to various IT service providers,
such as IT support, development and systems management. In the event that Södra
transfers your data to external parties to process personal data on behalf of Södra, a processing agreement is drawn up. That means that Södra enters into an agreement with the counterparty on how your personal data may be processed. As a general rule, Södra will only transfer and process your personal data within the EU/EEA. In cases where your personal data must be transferred to a country outside the EU, this is carried out in accordance with the protection rules set out in current data protection legislation, which means that special precautions are taken, including an assessment of that country’s data protection legislation.
Sensitive personal data
Södra does not routinely collect sensitive personal data (such as
information about ethnicity, health, religion or sexual orientation). We
recommend that you do not provide sensitive personal information in free text
fields or similar.
Security for your personal data
Södra will take all appropriate technical and organisational measures to
ensure the security of your personal data, and to limit and prevent the risk of
your personal data falling into the wrong hands. However, we cannot guarantee
the security of any information transferred to us over the Internet, and you do
so at your own risk. It is important that you also take responsibility for
ensuring that your data is protected. As a user, it is your responsibility to
ensure that your sign-in details are kept secret.
Content optimisation
We collect certain information about you in order to optimise and
improve Södra’s digital channels. This mainly takes the form of cookies, which
can provide us with information about the content you use most often. Södra
uses cookies to provide you with personalised offers, based on your
preferences.
